• Aggregated Analytics: Retained indefinitely (anonymized)
• Individual Usage Logs: Retained for 12 months, then deleted
• API Request Details: The recorded parameters of an API request, including search text, are deleted after 90 days; the usage record itself follows the 12-month window above
• Error Logs: Retained for 90 days

Communication Records

• Support Tickets: Retained for 3 years
• Email Communications: Retained for 2 years

Financial Information

• Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
• Payment Card Data: Not stored (processed by third-party payment processors)

Data Deletion

User-Initiated Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by:

• Deleting your account through account settings
• Contacting our support team
• Using the “Delete Data” option in your privacy settings

Automatic Deletion

We automatically delete:

• Anonymous uploads after 90 days
• Inactive accounts after 3 years
• Temporary files and caches regularly

Exceptions to Deletion

We may retain certain data longer when required to:

• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
• Prevent fraud and abuse
• Maintain business records (anonymized)

Backup and Archive Data

Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 90 days before being permanently removed. Archived data for legal or business purposes is stored securely and separately.

Our third-party service providers follow their own retention policies, which we review for compliance with data protection standards.
